for the 2004 Chelsea Flower Show. The brief was to create a visual interpretation of \u2018From Freedom to the Future\u2019 based on Leeds\u2019 twinning with Durban in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The garden was finally integrated into Millennium Square in Leeds 2005. The idea for the garden was inspired by Nelson Mandela\u2019s visit to the Leeds.<\/p>\n<p>The award-winning design was developed alongside workshops that explored themes of freedom and aspiration with school children in Leeds and Durban, South Africa.
